Friendly and fast, The R&A Coronation Foursomes competition is open to mothers and daughters, friends and family members.
16 Area Finals took place across Great Britain & Ireland in July and August 2026. The winning pair from each Area Final qualified for the Grand Final on the Eden Course, St Andrews, with Ireland's Lynne Coote and Lorraine Abbott producing a wonderful performance to win. The pair, from Loughgall Golf Club, managed 45 stableford points to claim a four-point victory. They won a VIP experience at the 2027 AIG Women’s Open which includes a five-day ticket, Sunday hospitality invite, a nights accommodation, a £150 Peter Millar voucher each and their travel expenses covered. Local qualifying took place at clubs across Great Britain and Ireland, with players coming through one of 16 Area Finals to seal their spot in St Andrews. The Final was staged on the Eden Course where finalists also enjoyed staying at the prestigious Old Course Hotel Golf Resort & Spa as part of the Grand Final experience.
